Each expert can establish their consultation fee, and members are required to pay for their consultation based on the expert's specified rate.

The minimum charge unit is five minutes for each consultation video or audio call. If a video or audio call consultation surpasses 5 minutes, the service rate is billed by the minute and determined by the medical expert.
Example 1: You initiate a telephone consultation with an expert, and the total consultation time is 1 minute. The charge for this audio call is calculated based on the minimum charge (5 minutes). If the rate is 0.5 USD per minute for a consultation via audio call, the total fees for this consultation amount to 5 * 0.5 = 2.5 USD.
Example 2: You engage in a consultation with an expert through a video call, and the total consultation time is 5 minutes 30 seconds. If the rate is 0.5 USD per minute for a consultation via video call, the total fee for this consultation is 5 * 0.5 + 0.5 = 3 USD.

Service fees are only levied when members proactively initiate health consultations with Dr. HereOnline Experts. If experts voluntarily reach out to members, consultation fees are waived.

In order to enhance our service quality, you can set your availability according to three distinct "statuses" as a health expert:
* Accepting consultations: In this status, you must respond within 30 minutes, and the consultation will be billed based on a predetermined rate. If your response time surpasses 30 minutes, the patient will not incur any charges.
* Offline, not accepting consultations: In this status, you are unable to receive and respond to consultation requests.
* Busy, please leave your message: In this status, response time is within 24 hours, and the consultation will be billed at half the established rate. If your response time exceeds 24 hours, the patient will not incur any charges.
* Accepting consultations: In this status, you must respond within 30 minutes, and the consultation will be billed based on a predetermined rate. If your response time surpasses 30 minutes, the patient will not incur any charges.
* Offline, not accepting consultations: In this status, you are unable to receive and respond to consultation requests.
* Busy, please leave your message: In this status, response time is within 24 hours, and the consultation will be billed at half the established rate. If your response time exceeds 24 hours, the patient will not incur any charges.
Tailored to your personal schedule, you can arrange your consultation status. Analogous to alarm settings on a mobile phone, you can select your available time slots from Monday to Sunday and their corresponding statuses, as well as choose whether to repeat your consultation status on a weekly basis or not.
Depending on your scheduled consultation time, the system will automatically adjust your status to "Accepting consultations", "Offline, not accepting consultations", or "Busy, please leave your message".
